◆When did you start drawing?
I always doodled random things when I was a kid, like animals and fruits and stuff. for some reason, I used to draw toucans all the time. I think I started anime-drawing at the end of 6th grade though.

◆Which hand do you use for drawing?
Right.

◆Which is easier to draw - male or female?
Male...I think I should try drawing girls more often.

◆Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
long hair to cover up funny head-shapes

◆Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
left (from artist's perspective). I think it's because I kept drawing faces in the same position when I first started and then it kind of got stuck that way...

◆Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
front view. profiles are haaarddd grawr

◆What do you have problems in drawing?
everythingggggg ;_; BODIES/anatomy/dynamic poses/perspective...the list goes on.

◆What do you like to draw?
bishies. LOL OTL. um..yeah. pretty people? I want to be able to draw different things, though. I really need to diversify!

◆Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
Digital. Oekaki all the waaaay, man. although I think traditional looks cool, too. But it seems a lot more stressful because it doesn't really allow for mistakes. XD

◆Where do you start drawing from?
um...pencil on paper? (is this a trick question? or maybe I'm being stupid.)

◆What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
I tend to draw similar things over and over again, like the same orientation of face and body, etc., and it REALLY bugs me. -_-

◆Any tips for coloring/shading?
have funnn! like rox said, don't be afraid to experiment and try new things. especially in digital art, you can easily change the colors if you don't like what you initially chose.

◆How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
um...anywhere from half an hour to 2 hours, depending on if I like what I'm drawing or not. after the 2 hour mark I start getting a little antsy...

◆What music do you listen to while you draw?
whatever comes up on my song list. if there's a song that I like that matches my mood while I draw, then I put it on repeat.

◆How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
uhh...I don't really come up with "ideas"...or rather, my creativity is very limited. which is why my pictures consist largely of unoriginal and bland head-shots, haha. I think I should try putting more thought into my pictures though, because I notice that really good artists think about what they want to communicate before they start.

◆Your favorite drawing utensils?
mouse + oekaki (digital); mechanical pencil, eraser, colored pencils (traditional)

◆Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
WHITE! heheh...although I suppose I use skin colors a lot since I'm always coloring skin lol.

not quite sure how to describe it...not mainstream anime, but not really realism either. I really like artists who manage to capture the impression of a "realistic" feeling while preserving the anime/manga influence, especially in their use of backgrounds, lighting, etc...yeah I don't know what I'm saying.

◆What kind of artist are you aiming for?
a diverse artist who is capable of drawing a wide array of things in inventive/unexpected ways. an artist with something meaningful to say in her works. (haha I'm totally failing at this)
