Personality:
- Motherly. Often adopts an older sister role towards those younger than her or those who happen to evoke her maternal instincts 8)
- Easily embarrassed. Prone to bursts of nervous laughter when faced with uncomfortable social situations.
- Usually soft-spoken, but can be surprisingly stubborn when the situation calls for it.

History:

Geneve grew up in the lower-middle class segment of Crownyx, located near the slums. Although her family enjoyed a relatively comfortable lifestyle, Geneve was acutely aware of the poverty that existed just a few blocks from her doorstep.

Her father ran a small weapons/antique shop. As a child, she was keenly interested in the wares that her father sold; but since she was a girl, her mother felt that this was not an entirely appropriate preoccupation, and instead encouraged Geneve to pursue more feminine activities, ie. cooking and sewing. (Unfortunately, Geneve did not possess a natural talent for these domestic skills……; )

Nevertheless, Geneve maintained a quiet interest in her father’s business, and would listen attentively to the stories he told about the artifacts in the shop – often romantic tales of the courageous knights that had once yielded them.

When news of the White Queen/Black King's vision reached Crownyx, Geneve was naturally drawn to the call; she, too, might become a valiant knight for the people. Of course, she realized that her motivations might be viewed as silly and immature, and she also knew that her parents would dismiss her desire as a foolish notion of youth, not near worth the cost it demanded. However, as months passed, she began to seriously consider joining the recruits - especially as she continued to witness the poverty and destitution so close to her.

Although her parents did oppose the idea when she brought it up, her surprising stubbornness and earnest intentions eventually managed to persuade them. Soon after, Geneve left for Caissa’s Island.


Miscellaneous:
- enjoys making things for people (even though she's not really good at it)
- has a pretty strong stomach
- Geneve would often play “make-believe” with her younger sister Daisy (12 years old), assuming the role of the knight while Daisy played the part of the princess. Jokingly, or perhaps half-seriously, Geneve promised Daisy on the day of her departure for Caissa’s Island that she would one day return to truly be “Princess Daisy’s Knight.”
